/// ABOUT
The Ideas Catalogue is an annual publication that draws together ideas for projects, artworks, events, interventions and exhibitions.
Issue One was created as an output for the ideas left over from the art practice of the catalogue's founding editor, Gabrielle de Vietri. They were ideas that were too embarrassing, expensive, risky, or just plain bad to carry out, but were still interesting enough to share as ideas and to pass on to others to pick up, discuss, develop and carry out in their own way.
As of Issue Two, readers are invited to submit their ideas to the Ideas Catalogue. You can submit your fantasies about a better world, the left-overs from your creative process, a design for a new product, a system for a different economy, a way of speaking, a way to pay off debts, a way to tie your laces... anything!
If you'd like to contribute to the next issue, simply fill out a Submission Form (see main menu). An Ideas Catalogue Consultant will contact you to discuss your entry within two weeks of receiving it.
All ideas in the catalogue are for sale. So have a browse, and if you find an idea that interests you and suits your timeframe and budget place an order by filling out the Idea Order Form. You can buy an idea for a variety of purposes: to own it as you would any artwork, as an investment or to hang on the wall... you can carry it out yourself... you can even incorporate the concept into another project. Once you buy an idea, you own the right to interpret it as you wish.
